thirty-five years ago, Joe Sumner was Worldwide Foreman for the mechanical contractor, Sam P. Wallace
Co. Joe knew that having the right tools could make the difference in completing jobs safely, on time
and under budget. He founded his own company in 1965 to provide those tools to the mechanical
contractor. Joe.s vision, Sumner Manufacturing Company, Inc., has grown internationally, offering a
multitude of products for various areas of construction. Included in these are many of the tools Joe
originally developed which are in use daily in 36 countries. Ideas for new products (as well as how to
