Lisle 14440 Water Pump Wrench for GM Northstar. Removes and Installs the Water Pump Assembly on GM Northstar 4.0L & 4.6L Engines. Insert the tool over the water pump blades and engage the teeth into the locking tangs. Turn the tool with a 1/2” drive ratchet or breaker bar. Angled teeth prevent the tool from slipping.
I wish you could have seen the look on my friend's face when he opened up the water pump wrench for the Northstar engine. It was the perfect birthday present for someone who had already manually installed the water pump for me. (My motives are usually selfish) (He did say he thought he might re-install it correctly now since he had the wrench and it might take only 10 minutes instead of 10 hours!)
