Master Appliance UT50 Ultratorch Soldering Iron/Heat Tool. A professional quality, butane powered soldering iron, flameless heat tool and butane torch that fits in your shirt pocket. Includes soldering tool, soldering tip, heat tip & protective cap. Adjustable temperature dial. Perfect for field service & maintenance applications. Temp: 392 to 842 Degrees F, 200 to 450 Degrees C.
Note: This tool does not perform reliably ABOVE 4800' altitude. We have several customers at the 4800' level who report no problems. But people at 5000' say it's difficult to ignite. For high altitude use, consider the Master Appliance butane kit (model MASEI20K) or the Weller Cordless (model WELPS100K).
All Master products are
made from superior quality materials and the finest craftsmanship. Industrial quality materials and
expert assembly methods in a clean modern factory setting make it possible to assure our customers the
maximum in product quality.

The UltraTorch does not work reliably above 5000' altitude. We've had customers living at 4800' who reported it works fine for them. So the majority of USA customers, this torch will work perfectly. For those near or above 5000' elevations, we recommend you do NOT get this product. Instead, consider the Master Appliance butane kit (model MASEI20K), or the Weller Cordless (model PS100K).

Have used this unit for 15 yrs. in Ohio and it has been great. I have moved to New Mexico and ordered a new unit only to find out by the OEM,this unit does not work in higher elevations. I have tried it at the lowest elevation of 5K ft. and it will not light.

I have had my Ultratorch for at least 8 years and it has provided reliable and trouble free service. It is so compact, it's like an extension of my arm.
