If you want to return an unused item, no problem. Just ship it to us within 30 days of its invoice date and we’ll refund 100% of the purchase price including any sales tax.
If receive a defective item (meaning you used it and it broke, or it arrived DOA), return it to us within 10 days of the invoice date for a free exchange. We’ll send you the replacement item immediately and shipping to you will be FREE. If you’re in a hurry, we can “cross-ship” if you wish (we charge your credit card for the replacement item, ship it immediately, and refund that charge when the defective item arrives from you). See below for exceptions to our Returns Policy for particular items.
After 10 days from the invoice date, if you used the item and it breaks, all warranty claims are then handled directly by the manufacturer. See our Mfg Contacts page for links to all our manufacturers. If you contact the manufacturer and get ‘jerked-around’, we’ll step in and make things right.
That’s as simple and as honest as we know how to make a Return Goods policy. We want your business, and we’ll earn your satisfaction even long after the sale take place. It’s our promise to you.
Exceptions to our “100% Refund Policy”
We will NOT warranty or refund on any air tool, cordless, or electric products. If you purchased one of these items, but didn’t use it, then you can return it to us within 30 days for a full refund (less shipping costs). But, if you used it, then we will NOT accept it for a refund or exchange for any reason. All warranty claims will then be made through the manufacturer.
We don’t like saying “no” to our customers, but some people abused our returns policy after building a deck, etc.. So, we have a hands-off policy on air tool, cordless, or electric products. You’ll simply have to work it out with the manufacturer if there’s a problem.
Now, if at any point after contacting the manufacturer you feel you’re not being treated fairly, then we’ll contact them on your behalf. So, you can still count on us to assure your satisfaction with any product you buy from us. However, we don’t offer the full blanket of customer satisfaction on our electric, cordless, or air tools, as we do the other products we sell, due to excessive past abuse of our returns policy.
